RALF TECH, friend of Sup de Luxe, is official timekeeper of the Golden Globe Race
18 sailors, 30,000 miles, non-stop, solo, unassisted, under 1968 conditions!
To celebrate Sir Robin Knox-Johnston's historic first solo, non-stop round-the-world trip during the Sunday Times Golden Globe race in 1968/69, a new Golden Globe set off from Les Sables d'Olonne on July 1 to mark the 50th anniversary of this epic.
After having been Official Timekeeper of the Vendée Globe, the Transat Jacques Vabre and the Transat Anglaise (to mention only the most emblematic races), RALF TECH is back at sea and becomes the Official Timer of the Golden Globe Race 2018.
RALF TECH is therefore particularly proud to support the fleet on a daily basis, providing skippers with precise, reliable watchmaking instruments designed to withstand the most extreme conditions.
"On behalf of Sup de Luxe, we wish Frank Huyghe's teams good luck in this new Golden Globe Race Adventure. Frank Huyghe is a loyal friend of Sup de Luxe, advising our students, offering them internships and imparting a sense of entrepreneurship. "Thibaut de La Rivière, Director of Sup de Luxe
